- extends the life of your content
- gives you time to breathe when you don't feel like making anything new
- allows your most recent new followers to see content that is old to you, but brand new to them
On numerous occasions, the repost of one of my videos did exponentially better than the first time I posted it.
If you're worried about people saying, "Oh, this is not new, they already posted this," trust and believe that

It's a higher chance that the people who actually follow you probably didn't even see it the first time you posted it.
