Your favorite content creator is also on the exact same internet as you. The difference between you and them is that they're posting content. So if you want to be a content creator, but you...
- feel discouraged
- don't feel like you have anything to add
- feel like whatever the niche you're looking towards is oversaturated
let that self-doubt go.
Just let it go.
With that said, trust and believe that if you want to start sharing content online, expect it to not go viral. Expect you're going to get low views/engagement. TBH, that's just how anything in life goes. When you first start with a new hobby or learning a new skill, you're gonna suck at it.
Now let's say that your first post does go viral...
When people come to your account to see what else you have, but you only got seven other posts, it's still not going to matter. They'll just see you as a one-hit wonder and keep it pushin'. There's clearly nothin' to see here.
So focus on just posting stuff that you actually enjoy at a pace that you can ACTUALLY sustain. The views/engagement will come with time and consistency. If you're looking to get started in content creation or you're a content creator who's just feeling burned out, release those self-limiting thoughts and ideas of perfection.
Just post.
