A Proper IntroductionWelcome! My name is Darien and I am the founder of MDM Network. Many people know me as @d.s.vines on TikTok, where I unlock memories for Millennials. I posted my first TikTok video on January 7th, 2022. In just one year, I grew my TikTok account from 0 followers and 0 likes to 20k+ followers and 2.6M+ likes across videos. On the entertainment side of MDM Network, I make comedic content that references late 90s & early 2000s movies/tv shows/commercials, music, viral videos from early YouTube (2006-2013) and Vine (2014-2016), and other pop culture media. I offer laughter and a walk down memory lane. Beyond nostalgic comedy, I offer insights about content creation, navigating adulthood as a modern millennial, and much more across different platforms. You may be wondering “What does 'MDM' stand for?” It is an abbreviation of the word “Multidimensional”. In 2020, I started a YouTube channel & Podcast as creative outlets where I could show that Black men in the United States were more than just negative stereotypes and violent news reports. Even with the more positive mainstream portrayals as successful athletes and entertainers, I still knew there was so much more to my lived experience that I wanted to share. I am multidimensional and so are you. MDM Network is a hub and haven for people to explore their own creative expression.
